It all started with one girl with a dream to return to the place that has given so much to her.

this is the story of

Indonesia is 2nd in the world for contribution to marine plastic pollution, and an estimated 30 million plastic water bottles end up in the landfills in Bali every year. Inspired by the work of other organizations such as Youthtopia and Sungai Watch, I knew that there had to be a way that us, the island of Bali, could come together to dream for a better future.

Kembali was created with one mission: To innovate alongside local communities for more sustainable water systems.

And now we’ve designed a circular closed loop system alongside the needs of the locals here in Bali that can eliminate waste entirely while prioritizing the relationships and impact of our hospitality partners across the island.

But that’s not all.

We believe that water should be sourced locally and be kept local. Water can be used as an agent for change in more ways than just distribution. With a percentage of the profits, Kembali is committed to returning what has been given back to the people of Bali through three community pillars: access to clean water infrastructure, education, and small business development.

We’re on our way to change the world’s relationship with water, and there’s no better place to begin than in Bali.
